I am still contemplating if its worth the effort this year, with a few main manuafacturers not being present. Anyone else fancy a day out?

Something for the weekend sir?

Ian, Dave, Shaun and myself, and the Grand Extreme guys, behaving like hooligans again. What a weekend.

We had great food, great roads, ( a hangover for Sunday), and very nearly impounded bikes, as a result of 140 mph flyby on the copper at the side of the peage. A long story that we will bore you with at some point.

Had to be the best weather for weeks, and 710 miles from start to finish.

Wish some of you guys could have been there, but then we would've had to wait longer for our food.

Well, what a ride.

Apart from some obligitory getting separated from the rest of the group, (me). We had some of the best weather and roads the south can offer. Two hundred miles sorted out our need for biking. Great to see Ian again, and a young chap called Ben joined us who had passed his test a few days earlier (you wouldn't know though).

We are off to France next weekend on the something for the weekend tour, so this was a nice warm up.

We'll make you jealous by posting the details of what fab time we've had, when we get back.

on the bikes this weekend

Ian is making his way to the Tadley region this weekend, resulting in us going out in search of bacon butties across the land. Give us a shout if you out and about.

Whats everyone else upto, surely the bikes can't be rapped up for winter already.

out for a trundle

Dave and myself had a little blast out on Saturday, 111 miles later and a few dodges of speed cameras, and we are knackard but contented. Called into H cafe for a coffee on the way, its changed name now but : http://www.boxertrix.com/MeetingPlaces/FoxsDiner.htm is the old name.
Just nice to get out and have a thrash, its been two months since Ive been able to ride cos of my illness, its a little hard to be too sensible at the moment. I need a mountain fix.

vive la france

So to start the stories, as Shaun and I missed the trip this year, we have a weekend away in France in sept, through the Grand Extreme guys ( I emailed their stuff earlier in the year), with Ian and Dave coming too. Really looking forward to that. And, I finally put my new span adjusted leavers on yesterday, which will make me go really fast. Can't wait, still jealous I missed the main event !!
